Growing Healthy Kids

Perfect for elementary aged children, Eat It! Food Adventures, has re-imagined Recipe for Success Foundation’s award-winning nutrition education program in schools as a charmingly fun, interactive multi-media platform designed just for kids—but fun for whole families.

The site will feature cooking and gardening video classes hosted by Recipe for Success founder, Gracie Cavnar and featuring Chef Carlos and Farmer Froberg, animated “How Do I Do This?” and massive video and visual glossaries of foods and their origins. The Food Explorers section–an engaging collection of independent learning experiences, for children PreK through 12 years old will include scavenger hunts, adventures, word games, coloring pages and vocabulary diversions.

Eat It! Food Adventures will keep your kids entertained for hours while slyly teaching them about healthy food. Inspired by Gracie Cavnar’s award-winning children’s book, Season One – Food Adventures with Marco Polo will premier in 2021 and release new video classes in the kitchen and garden each week throughout the year.

There will be opportunities for subscribers to upgrade to premium level and gain access to private and group Zoom classes and clubs that employ the Foundation’s deliciously fun approach to teach, empower and inspire healthy eating.

Make it a fun gift to open and send an annual subscription along with an apron and kids knife to your favorite child.

About Us

Since 2005, Recipe for Success Foundation has worked to combat childhood obesity by changing the way our children understand, appreciate and eat their food, and by educating and mobilizing the community to provide healthier diets for children. Its programs have empowered more than 50,000 youth with the knowledge and skills to make a lifetime of healthy eating decisions. Through efforts including the nationally offered Seed-to-Plate Nutrition Education™, Eat It! Food Adventures website and children’s cookbooks, the VegOut! 30 Ways in 30 Days Challenge and Hope Farms in Houston Texas, the Foundation aims to make healthy food appealing and available to everyone with programs that teach, empower and inspire healthy eating. It works to establish healthy eating as the norm and to create a culture in which nutritious food is shared, appreciated, and celebrated. Learn more at www.recipe4success.org.
